Come spend some time with us!

Meru Peak School can host you as a volunteer : Meru Peak is looking for qualified teachers and youth development professionals to work with us for short-term and long-term stays.

English teachers - we need volunteers who are skilled at teaching English to non-native English teachers.
Math teachers - we need math teachers that can teach basics to moderate levels of mathematics
Other subjects - such as biology, science, physics are all welcome
Teach-the-teacher - we need professionals skilled in classroom management, curriculum development and teaching techniques to work with our young teachers to improve their skills
We ask for a minimum of 1 month volunteer but can accommodate volunteers for up to a year.

Volunteers are provided with a room to stay in (however there are currently no private baths) and can eat with the staff and children. It is not required that you know Kiswahili as we teach all secondary classes in English.
